Who it is for

  • Children in Kindergarten 1 or 2 preparing for Primary 1
  • Children with identified or emerging needs, with or without a diagnosis
  • Trouble attending in a group, following instructions or waiting their turn
  • Children who need support with independence, materials or the fine motor work of writing and cutting
  • Children whose preschool teacher has raised questions about readiness

What each session covers

Each weekly 60-minute session rehearses the real classroom: sitting and attending in a group, following multi-step instructions, waiting and taking turns, managing materials, and the fine motor work of writing and cutting.

Every session is led by one of our therapists, with a co-facilitator when the group has five or more children. The programme focuses on classroom skills; recess, canteen and self-care routines aren't covered in sessions, and we give you guidance on those at the final debrief.
