A parent's instinct. A therapist's training.
PediaBloom was built by a paediatric therapist who is also a parent. Every room, every programme, every decision made by someone who works with children all day and goes home to one at night. Your child deserves a clinic designed around them, not a template.
Shan Heng
Principal Occupational Therapist
Shan Heng has spent over a decade as a senior paediatric occupational therapist across Singapore's special education and early intervention landscape, including SPD, Rainbow Centre, EIPIC programmes and Dover Court International School.
PediaBloom grew from a conviction built over those ten years: that the skills children need to learn (attention, movement, perception, regulation) deserve the same serious, evidence-based attention whether a child has a diagnosis or not. That's why our clinic serves both.
Our growing team spans occupational therapy, speech & language therapy, physiotherapy, psychology and dietetics. One roof, one shared plan for every child.
Our team
One roof, one shared plan for every child, across occupational therapy, speech & language therapy, physiotherapy, psychology, dietetics and early childhood education.

Michelle Lau
Trainee Therapeutic Play Practitioner
Postgraduate Certificate in Therapeutic Play Skills (taught component complete, supervised practicum in progress) · Accredited by Play Therapy UK (PTUK) & Play Therapy International (PTI)
Michelle is a trainee Therapeutic Play Practitioner and a mother of two who believes that play is a child’s natural way of communicating, expressing emotions and making sense of the world around them. She is completing her supervised clinical practicum toward full certification, under external clinical supervision by a PTUK/PTI Certified Play Therapist and Certified Supervisor, as required by her training body. At PediaBloom she works with children experiencing mild to moderate social, emotional or behavioural challenges (worries, big feelings, changes at home or school) who may find it easier to express themselves through play than through talking.
Trained in therapeutic play approaches, Michelle works alongside children to create a safe, accepting and non-judgmental space where they can explore their feelings at their own pace. As a mother herself, she understands that every child is unique, with their own ways of communicating, processing emotions and experiencing the world. She brings a warm, patient and empathetic approach, using play, creative activities and child-led interactions to support emotional expression, self-awareness, confidence and emotional regulation, recognising that sometimes play can express what words cannot.
Background: Mother of two · PTUK/PTI-accredited training · Sessions under external clinical supervision
Our team is supported by dedicated therapy assistants and administrative staff who ensure every session runs smoothly.
